I am an educator by training and think about how our decisions now will affect the next generation. We must be forward-thinking and continue to invest in our schools and infrastructure to build a strong foundation upon which to grow.
Upon my election in 2021, I launched a monthly e-newsletter. You can sign up for it here or read archived copies here.
I value community and love network-weaving and bringing people together. After moving to Framingham in 2017, I initiated meeting my neighbors quickly, hosting a block party after 4 months.
I work passionately for causes I believe in, including founding a local non-profit organization that taught about healthy and sustainable food systems.
I spent two years on the Agricultural Advisory Committee, am a member worker at Stearns Farm, and Chair of the Mayor’s Compost Task Force. My little free library and front yard pollinator gardens are intentional ways I create opportunity for community exchange.

I grew up in a civically minded family and have vivid memories of holding signs for our PA congressman as far back as 3rd grade. Most of my family is politically engaged, and my sister currently serves as an elected Town Manager in New York.
The role of the City Councilor is to be a line of communication between people in the community and the city government – and to help information flow both ways. I am constantly thinking about how communication happens between neighbors, within our city government, and in our community at large.
In the 2023-2025 counil term I was appointed to the Finance Subcommittee, the Environmental and Sustainability Subcommittee, Chair of the Mayor’s Compost Task Force and liaison to the Charter Review Committee.
Post general election in 2021, The Patch interviewed me for this article, “The First Time Homebuyer Framingham Councilor.”
Curious what your neighbors have to say? Here are my 2023 endorsements.
